Elvis joined Yappy Tails in March. He was an owner surrender that had lived his ENTIRE life in an outdoor kennel and then boarding, and then he was dumped at a shelter, before being pulled to safety.
His face haunted us all from Alabama to Connecticut. We knew he’d be tough to place because he was a 3-4 year old black dog; one look at him & you could see he’d had a tough start. Prior to his arrival, we posted his picture on Facebook, our website, and our adoption sites, but had no solid interest in him. Fortunately for us & for Elvis, Caitlin & her family offered to foster, and well, they “failed,” and decided to make Elvis a permanent member of their family. 💕💕.
This sweet boy has brought so much joy to his family. He especially enjoys walking to & from school with his human siblings. 💞💞. We are forever grateful to Caitlin for seeing all the love Elvis had to give & taking a chance on this sweet boy. Keep living the dream, Elvis! #adoptdontshop #lovetheabandoned
